The purpose of this guide is to provide guidance to understand the different styles of websites that we offer and the terminology behind the details. All of our websites are designed for the base level brochure style of website. The brochure style website merely provides information to the site visitors, and contains minimal functionality. Upgrades to include checkout technology and other features are available.

Terminology
Home Page
The first page that the user lands on when entering the website also known as the index.
Inner (Interior) Page
When a navigation menu is present, this is any page within the boundaries of a top-level
domain, that is not the home page (index).
Custom Designed
A design that is created and curated from scratch with our design team. The first step in this
process begins with constructing the wireframe.
Pre-Designed
A design that has been created with a general layout that can be modified with limitations.
The wireframe has been constructed and cannot be modified, though the overlay (i.e. colors and images)
can be modified.
Frame
A frame is section of a web page. The frame is the section that is designated for a particular
subject matter and is not larger than the visual area of a screen with a 1:1 aspect ratio (without zoom).
Website
A website is more than a home page. A website can contain a single frame or multiple frames
on the home page, and includes a navigation menu that leads to inner pages.
Landing Page
A landing page is a type of website that consist of only a single page. A landing
page is often created for a sole purpose such as to market a prodct or service. The landing page
can be a home page or an inner page, however it does not contain a navigation menu and can
consist of a single frame or multiple frames.
Hosting
Websites must reside on a special type of computer, called a webserver. Space on a webserver
must be purchased or leased. All of our website plans include the purchase of an allotment of space on a webserver.
Support
Support is often the most overlooked component in web-development because even the most basic of websites (a
brochure website). All of our website plans, with the exception of one, include support.
